Yesterday “El Rushbo” joined the Republican’s bandwagon echoing their deflection de jour away from the current issues, policies, and legislation that together makeup the War on Women by bloviating about a CNN commentator’s remark that Ann Romney has never worked a day in her life. The comment, not the best choice of words, were made by a working mother in response to Mitt’s claims that his wife is his source for understanding what is important to women these days.

In his discussions about this issue, Rush reffered to women in the media as “clucking hens.” He said feminism “Changed Forever The Normal Human Nature Relationships Between Men And Women.” And that the “Infobabe” At CNN “Cut Feminism Off At The Knees” By Saying women want choice between working, staying home. He echoed the Romney camp’s claim that the CNN commentator works for President Obama’s campaign, a statement the Obama campaign has said is false.

Oh there was so much more. He suggested that civil rights groups are celebrating the death of Trayvon Martin, and that Zimmerman looks suspiciously more Hispanic in person than he does in the photos used by the media… He isn’t going to stop inciting hate and degrading anyone who is not a white man in his supposed listening demographic.

Please help us remove this rhetoric of hate from our mid-day public airways! There are many ways for you to take part in this effort.

Try to be polite; if you’re doing this, you know why they shouldn’t be advertising on Limbaugh’s show.

PLEASE NOTE that many of these advertisers don’t realize their ads are being run on Limbaugh’s show. However, the more they are heard on Limbaugh’s show, the more they will hear from people all over the country, and their names are being placed on lists that are shared by many groups. Do they want their brands associated with misogyny, racism and hate?    Remind them of some of the hateful, racist, ethnic, anti-Semitic, misogynistic things he’s said over the years.  Tell them we need them to help change the way we speak to each other. We need to change the national rhetoric. Speak from the heart.

If they respond that they didn’t know or don’t want their ads to play on Rush’s Show please check this page, that may be true but they can do something about it.

We are interested in the responses you receive from sponsors, please share them via comments or email.

And there are more ways you can help – please see this page for details.
